Interesting poll Rue.
I have my spots in the living room and the kitchen except when my Dad comes over. Some how he knows where I sit and well, I lose my spot.
I guess he's the large Angel in the tank, even though he's just swimming through.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

This is kinda funny...I have been watching the poll results change as more people vote...
But it never occurred to me that fish folks might be a bit more territorial about tank-side seating...
That's in part because my upstairs tank is in the dining room - so you don't really lounge beside it...and while the downstairs tank is in the rec room...there's no seating beside it either...55 g Goldfish Tank - 3 Fancies, 2 Comets
25 g Tropical Tank - Celestial Pearl Danio/Mixed

Yes, I have a spot in both dining room and living room. I'm not that concerned about the dining room but I'm a bit like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory when it comes to my living room spot.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.
