Please give a warm welcome to my bettas, Barnabas and Jezebel!
Banabas, the super black spade tail plakat male:
Jezebel, the super white halfmoon plakat female:
Now, I am by no means a photographer but I tried my best to get some decent pictures. The yellow tinge in Jezebel's tank is due to Indian almond leaf and the lack of a light because it broke (BTW Aqueon was so nice as to replace it for free, so the new one's in the mail).
P.S. Yes, they are and will remain in separate tanks. No, I have no intentions of breeding them whatsoever...

Oh man, those are cool! I see some bettas that are almost black at my LFS, but not nearly as deep black as that male.I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.
