    Thank you. My son really wants the Glofish as does my Fiancee. This is a good way for me to become more experienced so when I get that 75 gal tank, I'll have some idea of what to do.

    I saw this item and was curious if it would actually help speed up cycling the tank.

    while those products may sound good... many of the people on here believe they really don't work, and overall aren't that good in the long run.

    Ok, I'll cycle the tank without that.

    I'm going to return the LED strip and get the Marineland LED Hood 24"x12". It's cheaper and covers the whole hood.

    I cycled my 75 gal with Tetra Safestart - Next time I will do fishless cycling. It went very well, but like fish-in cycling, it is stressful for the fish.
