cuc stocking question
i stocked my 14 gallon biocube with CUC yesterday. i put three reef hermit crabs and three astrea snails. should i put more? i have some algae growth i would like them to get rid of.

You really don't have a big enough tank for three hermit cabs. They can get territorial as well. I would suggest taking two of them back to the store. I would also get a few empty shells to place in the tank for your one remaining hermit crab to use as he grows or he could start killing off your bigger snails trying to get a new shell
It would, however, be a good idea to get more snails. Maybe another 8 to 10 astrea snails. The snails will also help you keep the glass clean.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
