    Just thought I'd mention - I don't know what you have for a skimmer or how clear your water is, but sometimes micro bubbles stick to fish, and can make you think something is going on when its not...

    yes! i have an extra tank. i just didnt really know how to do it or have the money to set it up plus its bigger than my main tank which could be problem cause i would have to cycle it probably and wait forever

    That would depend on how you look at it.

    If you get ick in your tank, you would need to leave it fallow (without fish) for about three months before you could stock fish in it again, just to make sure the virus died off.

    The below can help you set-up a QT tank. I had learned the hard way many years ago the benefits of using a QT tank.
