What do you think I should do with the Raphaels and CAE's. I should have just went to petsmart. I went there and bought the tetras and they offer a 2 week return policy. I went to Selmers which is the fish store near me and bought the Raphael's and the CAE's there. They only offer a 48 hour policy and refused to take them back. I liked selmers too b/c they had a better selection of chemicals (petsmart doesnt even carry prime) and it's family owned. Petsmart did have a better fish selectio nthough.

You're sure they won't take them back? Some pet stores will give you store credit. I would try that route. Just explain your situation and if they're good shop owners and fish keepers they'll probably understand and help you out.

I called on the phone and that's what they said. I offered to exchange and he wouldn't even do that.

That's horrible customer service... and we wonder why LFS keep going out of business. ;/ You can blame the big box stores all you want, but the real kink is your unwillingness to budge and help your customers out...

    Sorry... that just bugs me.

+1 to Hardy. Craigslist is a good start. Unless you want to invest in a 75gal tank? =]

Yeah I told them that I was still in the process of stocking my tank and I will be taking my business elsewhere then. He still stood by the policy though.

I just put them on craigslist. Has anyone had experience with this?

I have sold equipment and fish on craigslist. Never had a problem doing it.

I posted the ad, I called the fish store again asked for the manager who gladly said I can exchange them so I got to get rid of the CAE's. Reason I called the second time was b/c a danio died.
So I am going to get cory's. Can I mix the types? Like an albino and a paletus cory?

I would keep a school of the same species. Keeping two of different species would be keeping two different schools, and they do better in larger schools (and are more attractive).

I have albino corys and they are highly entertaining. :) Very active and cool to look at.
