Anybody know how to preserve a jellyfish?
We're at the beach in Port Aransas, and I've found a dead moon jellyfish washed up on shore. It's about five inches across and a little bit shredded at the edges, but mostly intact. I know I've seen jellyfish online preserved in alcohol, does anyone know how to do this? I really want to keep this thing...
I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.
