Should I still feed my fish if they're eating a ton of my algae
I just got two new fish for my community ten gallon. Right now I currently have a honey gourami, a guppy, and a swordtail (yea I know the swordtail is a little big for a 10). The thing is my plants have tons of algae on them and the swordtail and guppy are just going to town on it.
I guess it couldn't hurt to feed the fish, my gourami doesn't seem to eat the algae anyways. I only feed them flake food once a day so everything should be ok right?

Yes, still feed your fish even if they are eating the algae. This will ensure that they get all the nutrients they need from the flakes. You could reduce the feeding to every other day if you choose to do so.

reduce feeding, but don't stop as the gourami isn't eating algae. make sure to observe when(if) they run out of algae and adjust food amount accordingly.
