why test for high range PH?
I just got the Master Freshwater Test Kit from API and it comes with the regular Ph test, and high range PH.
My question is; why would I need to test for High Range Ph?

The pH in some residential water supplies can be a little over 8, while other areas of the country will have their water supply with a pH of close to 7. Having both make the kit more flexible for people in different areas of the country.
You can also use the test liquids for salt water as wellIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I guess I don't need to use it. One thing less to worry about. Thanks so much.Fish Make Me Happy!

If the normal ph is maxed out I would test the high range to get a accurate reading.20 gallon tall: empty
29 gallon: moderately planted with 9 bloodfin tetra, 1 german blue ram, 11 glow light tetra and 1 BNP
10 gallon QT: empty
