i was wondering is there a type of pygmy panda cory? i bought a group of 8 panda cory month or so ago all of them have doubled in size besides one? it is barly maybe 1/2inch while the others are inch or bigger? i was wondering id he could be a pygmy or dwarf kind? or maybe soothing is wrong? he is eating just fine but uslay stays away from other cories and im getting worries since he isn`t growing and my angel fish is growing bigger day by day im scared it might eat him sooner or later.

I had one like that too. stayed small, breathed fast and shallow and had a slightly deformed head. also passed away eventually. my guess is that some
poor fish simply are genetic runts.

Something similar happened with the sterbai corys i ordered I had 7 and one looked like a tadpole almost deformed suffice to say I couldn't do anything to help him and he passed away while the others thrived. It just happens sometimes like mad said don't beat yourself up over it.
Long time fish keeper most experience with CA/SA cichlids, natives like sunfish, and aggressive catfish.
Currently have a 29g planted with 14 candy cane tetras, 6 sterbai corys, 6 melini corys, a roided out tiger angelfish and 1 mustache wearing albino longfin pleco.
Oh and they all get along amazingly!!! went through 4 BN plecos and 2 angelfish until I got ones with the right temperament but it's the most mellow tank now.
