    0 Not allowed!
    Im trying to figure iut hiw I can upload a pic I took of hin from my phone. He has white stuff all over him but it doesn't appear to be Ich. Looks kinda fuzzy. No new fish have been introduced in months. There is a big tiger oscar in the tank that is pretty mean but this bumblebee is pretty big too. Any help is appreciated

    Maybe the Oscar managed to scrape his side and it later got fungus. What are your water parameters?

    Water parameters are 0/0/10-15. Temp is 79 degrees approximately. Canister filter 47 ggallon tank

    Dose a good quality fungal med and up your water changes as needed. It should clear easy.

    I would go to metro+ just because of the stock. It is a great HTH treatment but waterchanges should help the fungus and metro should help the healing process...

    Quick question;

    Have any long term plans for these? I ask because an African cichlid and a SA cichlid have entirely different water parameter requirements and a 47G tank is about half the tank needed for the Oscar solo?

    Also if you could, What size are these fish and how long have they been in that tank? Filtration?
    Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
    Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
    Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
    Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

    A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

    Here's a link to treat fungus ..

    Bath with 5ml of methylene blue and 1 dosage of Furan-2 (or Tetra Parasite Guard or Jungle Fungus Clear) in a 5 gallon of water for 30 minutes, twice a day. Create a new bath each day.

    Or treat in a 10g quarantine tank using API Fungus Cure or Maracyn-2..following the directions on box for max treatment.
