Triops (Hatching for 10g)
I want to introduce a few triops to my 10g. My plan is to place a heater in a large glass bowl, then place a smaller plastic bowl inside that one. I'll fill both up with water and float the smaller bowl on top of the water in the larger bowl. Then, to keep the triops warm, I'll place a heater inside the larger bowl's water. The heat will transfer evenly to the smaller bowl's water, and keep the triops warm. I'll place the triops in my window and wait. At night, I'll light the tank with a lamp.
Is this a good plan? And also, IYO, are triops a good addition to a DT?10 Gallon: 5 Peppered Corys | Pool Filter Sand | x2 AquaTech 5-15 Power Filter | 2 plastic plants

They don't live very long... You can try, though.I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.
