Sorry to hear that sterbai are wonderful little fish; I hope it's not too bad for ya.Long time fish keeper most experience with CA/SA cichlids, natives like sunfish, and aggressive catfish.
Currently have a 29g planted with 14 candy cane tetras, 6 sterbai corys, 6 melini corys, and 1 mustache wearing albino longfin pleco.

it's driving me nuts, last night everyone looked fine, eating happy. what gives....
I am really hoping it is/was just stress because both pairs of my german blues decided to lay eggs at the same time... and moving the tank etc.
So keeping an eye on them. I could move them to the 10g tanks I have set up for shrimp, but I think that would be a little crowded (i have 2 10g, that would have to hold a total of 11 sterbai - 5 babies, 6 adults)Fish: 75g: 9 Parva Rainbow, 2 Oto, 4 Platies, 10 Sterbai, 4 Calico BN Pleco
10g: RCS, 10 B. Brigittae; 10g: 4 Fp. Spoorenbergi, 7 C. Habroseus, Orchid Endlers; 10g: 4 Fp. Spoorenbergi, Species #2 Endlers,
Plants: 75: Various Crypts, J Fern, Alternanthera Reineckii, Temple Hygro, Moneywort, R. Indica
