From all I've read on the topic I believe the consensus in this community is that it's not necessary to complete a gravel vacuum on a planted tank because there's benefits to leaving that undesirable matter we call mulm as fertilizer for the plants.

Has anyone though completed gravel vacuum on a planted tank only to extract the mulm (concentrated) from the bucket and injected back into the aquarium near the plants. What has your experience been like? Does anyone foresee issues with this thinking. I would like to think this would be similar to placing root tabs in the aquarium.
Your still using the mulm as plant fertilizer but also helping to make your substrate floor clean.
