  1. Question Shrimp Interbreeding?

    0 Not allowed!
    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew if I could keep Malaya- "Caridina cf. babaulti var. 'malaya'" with my bee and red cherry shrimp?
I know both the bee and Malaya are Cardina, but Malaya have different breeding patterns and the interbreeding charts I've seen all seem to give different answers? if the Malaya are listed at all?
Also, if they did interbreed, I've been told they'd be undesirable and ugly... what does that mean? colourless, deformed, infertile?
    thankss!

It's a relatively little know variet. Babaulti should be listed so I'd go from there. Deformed shrimp are extremely rare, most likely you'd be looking at bad colours.
