Yeah, they said that some of the dead were counted twice, hence the initial number of 51. Still a horrible tragedy!
I'm more concerned than ever, now, for my sister who sits over there in Indiana (part of tornado alley) WITHOUT a storm cellar or even a basement! I've pleaded with her to have one built, and she just says if a twister looks like it's coming her way, she'll grab the pets and get into the bathtub and put a mattress over all of them!
I have news for her! If a gigantic EF4 or EF5 comes roaring through, that's NOT going to save her!
Why are some folks in that part of the country so cavalier about not having the needed protection?
Maybe this awful tragedy in Oklahoma will finally get across to her that she needs some sort of underground bunker.
