Question Would cherry barbs be ok with rosy barbs?

    0 Not allowed!
Just wondering if the rosy barbs would eat them? Do cherry barbs pretty much mind their own in a good group?

    29 Gallon 5 rosy barbs.

No, they won't eat them. If the tank is big enough for the rosy barbs, then it will be big enough for both the rosy barbs and cherry barbs. But rather than getting two red barbs, why not get gold barbs?

Just noticed your signature - I think a 29 is small for rosy barbs, based on my experience with them.
    125 - big fish - BGK
125 - cichlid community - cichlids (red severums, chanchitos, bolivian rams, blue acara, chocolate), rainbows (yellow, turquoise, red and boesmani), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, pearl gouramis, golden wonder killis
90 - african community - Congo tetras, african knife, african butterflies, spotted ctenopoma, palmas bichir, african featherfin
    10 - female pink convict
    5 - betta/ADFs

    QTs - 2x29, 20H, 20L

+ 1 to Jaysee on your tank size; the Rosy barbs get to 6".

I would recommend at least 37 gallons for these. They are pretty energetic.
In my personal opinion, rosy barbs are better for 55-100g communities with fish such as gouramis, rainbowfish, and botia loaches. When I got mine, they were way more energetic than I thought, but aren't at all food hogs.

I would not. Rosie's, Albino's, Tiger's and greens would be a better option. Cherries are good barbs to keep with tetra's and less nippy fish.

Thanks all. Would black phantom tetras or black skirt tetras be ok with rosy barbs?
