http://www.aqueonproducts.com/assets/012/23821.pdf That's the warranty info for aqueon products. If your old tank was made by aqueon, can probably just take it into petsmart and swap it for a new one. Just let them know it was leaking. May want to call ahead to make sure. Couldn't hurt to ask.

A 20 gallon is cheap enough to replace. I'd get the new one and keep the leaking one for a repair job during the summer when you're not rushed. Always good to have a quarantine tank around.

Nothing to moving stuff from one tank to the other. BTW......a 30 gallon x-high has the same footprint as that 20 gallon in case you want to go a bit bigger. (And if you can find one or order one.)

Great if they will replace it but you have to have a receipt. They will not replace something you may have picked up from someone else or a garage sale, in other words.

sadly they did not have a 30 gallon high i was kinda excited for a potential upgrade seems they only have 10's 20 in that foot print an larger stuff 29 50 etc and weird hex / bow shapes. I am defiantly going to reseal that and use it no way its going to curb for someone to come and do the same thing an just reseal it. Going to go check my Car for the receipt to the new one, A its got a 20 discount off next purchase from them an B incase i have another issue with the new one down the road. They are both aqueon. Going to pester my mother who gifted me the tank / stand and let me set it up.
