Just a couple of photos. We went for a wedding, and then stayed for our holiday. The theme was Henge Hunting...

Lost by Burgh by Sands looking for Hadrian's Wall:

    Some people are like that.

    Scotland's nice in places.

Stongehenge... I found it too crowded for my liking.

I think I need a better point and shoot. I like mine, but the picture quality just isn't there...

So did you find Hadrian's Wall in the end? Hope you packed your waterproofs. Did you do any Fell walking?

Perhaps invest a bit of time in knowledge before you spend money on gear?

We did! :D Found a Milecastle and then went over to Vindolanda. No Fell walking, we had limited time, the wrong clothes and both hubby and I have some ankle/leg issues that haven't quite resolved...maybe next time! Now we know what to wear (lots of waterproofing) and to buy walking sticks to help keep us upright ;)

    ???

It's an old point and shoot...9 years I believe, 5 megapixals. It was 'top of the line' at the point of purchase. I take it with me because I primarily want memories, not to produce award winning photographs - and should I lose it...it's okay. Not to mention, it's small and fits in my purse easily.

However, at this point in time...I can probably get a better little point and shoot for not much money. The photos my old one takes just aren't as 'crisp' as the new ones seem to be.

Hubby has a professional quality camera. His pictures turn out a lot better. However his camera is big and a PITA to cart around.

So yes...as always...I will do extensive research before I invest in a new camera...;)
