Angry Question about Action Air Ornaments (they stay OPEN! - driving me nuts!)

    0 Not allowed!
Hi all, I am wanting to change over from just air stones to action air ornaments, I have tried several now (all from Walmart though) and no matter how much I adjust the air flow (and I do have the valve for adjusting it ) they stay open!!! Could this be just cheap air ornaments?
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks so much.

It could be that there is too much air passing through. They are supposed to work with a slow stream that accumulates and causes the action when the large bubble escapes

Sorry, I should have said, they DO close, but then open and pretty much stay open all the time. Perhaps the ornaments are just cheap. I will try buying better quality ones. (I can even turn off air flow and they stay open)
    Allergic to all things furry.
