That's pretty much what I do when feeding the variety of tetras I keep. I use the NLS small fish formula and the 1mm pellets. But, in my case, it does result with a necessity for a mid-week gravel vac. I only use about a 1/2 of gravel for substrate as well. Gravel, hmmmm, there's gotta be a better way.When in doubt, do a water change.

I'm hoping that they will continue to come to the surface once the tank temp is returned to normal. I will be getting either 1 or 2 BNPs after the ich is gone, so no more feeding below the surface.
BN2 is still with us. It's been at least a week since she has eaten, so I dropped 3 shelled peas in the QT for her this morning. Last night I added a bubbler to make sure she was getting enough oxygenation and she flared at me to let me know to get out of her tank. Her belly is slightly swollen, no where near as extreme as BN1's was.My 75 gal Journal & My Dual 29 gal Journal
