  1. Default Balloon mollie advise

    0 Not allowed!
    Hi,

i have just purchased a new balloon mollie. She is beautiful and BIG Over the last day or 2 i have noticed her acting a little strange hiding behind the filter and sitting on the pebbles or rocks. I have looked into pregnant balloon mollies and have found that if there is a small white spot at the back by her fins under her belly then that means she is close to giving birth? I have purchased a breeding net and put her in there with a few plants to keep her happy. I was just wondering if anyone could look at my video to check if i'm been over protective or if she is really pregnant.

    Regards
    Aiden

How large is your tank? Maybe the store you purchased her from will take some of the fry once they're big enough - do you have any other fish in there that might eat them for population control?
