    0 Not allowed!
I am planning to set up a tank and im not too fussed about much but i love the look of peppermint plecos and i was wondering what is the minimum tank size for these? and how big they get?
the shop says they get 12cm, but i know some plecos get to a foot or more so i want to check
and is there anything that is not compatible with them?

Peppermint plecos can reach a max of 7 inches. They're peaceful fish although two males can become very aggressive and territorial if not given the adequate space.

I would keep them in at least a 55 gallon tank if its a community. Make sure they're given enough hiding spaces and feed a heavy algae diet.
