Good call on the plants, they will help a lot to keep the water good for the goldfishIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Ditch the plant idea!. Some driftwood, some nice rocks and a school of pacu, and you will have yourself quite a nice pond.
