So I bout 3 yoyos a month or so ago. Two of which have almost doubled in size. One hasn't grown at all. Now he's laying on his side, I thought he was dead but he moves around when I went to nab him. So I don't think its doing that well. The other two are active and fine. Any suggestions?

None of that really applies. ALL OTHER FISH IN THE TANK ARE FINE. No treatment. Weekly 50% water change. CO2 DIY.
I got 3 yoyo loaches a month ago or so. two have doubled in size, and behave perfectly fine. One will not grow. Now, he's been even more lethargic, even to the point of laying at the bottom of the tank of his back or side. I thought he was dead a few times, but when I would try retrieve him, he began swimming around like nothing was wrong. When I feed the fish (especially bloodworms) HE REALLY PERKS UP...

Botine loaches have a tendency of playing dead, so that part is more or less normal, believe it or not. As for not growing while the other 2 have....that is a a much more serious issue. Could be that it isn't getting as much food as the others. Loaches form complex social hierarchies, so in such a small school, it is easy to bully one particular fish. I can't help but wonder if things would be different if you had a larger school, in which they really should be. Otherwise, perhaps the fish has parasites, or possibly wasting disease. Those really are just guesses though. I would put the fish in quarantine for further observation, to see that it is eating and pooping well, and to see if it grows at all.

The only other tank that I can quarantine him in, is my shrimp tank. I could move him. I am gone from home for a week, so I will need to check on him when I get back...
I should try to go pick up a couple more, it's hard to catch them in stock at the LFS...

+1 on larger school. From all I've read you should have these in a school of minimum 5.

I bought out all they had last time. The 3 that I have do anything but school. Does this change as their numbers grow?

I have only have a small number of yoyos as well (4). 3 of them hang somewhat together, one is odd man out. He is also the smallest. I have never seen him persecuted or harassed at all, he just doesn't hang with the others, and wanders the tank mostly on his own. I don't add more as my fs never had any more at the around the same time period I was stocking them, and now any new guys would be tiny and likely wouldn't get on well in my tank.
IMO the key indicator with loaches is colour and activity.
So long as your smaller guy has good sharp colour, and cruises around poking his whiskers into every nook and cranny when he is moving, I'd guess he's ok. He'd be happier if he had a buddy or three, but a dull stationary loach is an unhappy loach. Mine do crash on the substrate or wherever as well, but when they are moving they are quick darting, slow snooping, inquisitive fish that are fun to watch.

One last note - when asking about fish condition or disease, a picture is worth a thousand words...

Yeah, loaches can be hard to come by sometimes. many of us have incomplete schools of one thing or another for the same reason.

I only have 2 zebra loaches in my 55g (48in)so far (will get 5)and they don't school nor harass each other. They both eat but one grows more. I would recommend having your loaches in at least a 48 inch tank, I'm pretty sure yoyos can get up to 6 inches. Also, make sure these have enough territory to keep to their own or they might get aggressive. Feeding the loaches first is also a good idea because they aren't at all picky eaters and you want them to eat their own food while the other fish eat theirs to avoid food hogging.
