Default Orange Bubble tip Anemone in trouble

As the title says; my orange BTA isn't doing very well lately. It has been deflated for three days now and the mouth is open for the most part. I'm surprised it hasn't moved from the live rock it's on and I have taken that rock and moved it to other parts of the tank to increase light and flow with no real effect. The Tomato Clown still finds the BTA and wiggles in it but most of the tentacles are retracted.
I have read up on the demise of anemones and their slow dying process followed up by really polluting the tank.
There is no smell (I even held it under my nose last night when I moved it up on the rocks), nothing is coming out of the mouth, some tentacles are still inflated but only half their size.
    My water parameters are as follows;

    Ammonia - 0ppm
    Nitrite - 0ppm
    Nitrate - 0ppm
    Ph - 8.4
    Calcium - 22
    Kh - 10
    Phos - .25
    Temp. 79 degrees F
    Salinity - 1.025

The tank is around 6 months old (yes I know it is recommended to have an older stable set-up), and all the coral I have are doing really well.
The lighting is a 420 razor led 3 panel 160w 16,000 unit which is programmed to dim down in the evening and brighten up in the late morning.
The BTA was accepting thawed frozen Omega reef formula pieces and all seemed well.

When do I give up on it and remove it from the tank before it nukes everything?
Is there a chance of recovery and how is that achieved?

    I hate this.

I do not believe it is anything related to your water quality as bubble tips will typically move before showing that much stress. Three of the most common situations that come to mind that also fit your situation are bacterial infections, died anemones, and rough handling by a clown fish.

Has the appearance of the mouth area changed ? By that I am asking if you have notice raised or bumpy areas around the mouth. Not to be confused with the situations when a anemone will invert it’s mouth whem under a lot of stress.

Does the body of the anemone have a different color as compared to the boot or tentacles ?

How does your clown act around anf while hosting your anemone. Is she rough with the anmeone

Add a lot (and I mean a lot) of carbon to your set up now. If your anemone passes while your away or in bed, that will help to keep the rest of your livestock safe. If you see what looks like bits of the anemone falling off, or it looks like it is melting, it’s a goner and you need to take it out of the tank

Sorry to hear about your situation.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

There are no bumps around the mouth and the mouth is not raised, just slightly open.

"Does the body of the anemone have a different color as compared to the boot or tentacles ?"
The inside area around the mouth to the tenticals is the same colour as the tenticals. What I have noticed is there are fine white lines within that area. The boot is buried in the live rock and I can't see the colour.

"How does your clown act around anf while hosting your anemone. Is she rough with the anmeone."

She is contantly within the anemone and wiggling around. It looks rough to me but I'm not the anemone so it may not be. The only time the Clown leaves the anemone is for food.
There are no parts falling off and I dont see any melting happening yet. I have added an eheim canister to the tank with carbon in it as you suggested. Thanks.

Here are two pictures of how the BTA looks now.

Here is what it did look like a week ago.

Your anemone doesn't look all that bad. He does look a little stressed by something tho, but nothing that I would panic about yet. I would suggest a few extra water changes this week (just in case) and keep a close eye on him. He could just be getting ready to split !

    Really?

Thanks Cliff. I'll keep positive and see what happens with a few extra water changes.
