1.5g/5.5L tank options?
Last christmas my girlfriend bought me a small fish tank as my first tank. After reading up i decided to upgrade to a 100L/26g tank which i now happily have some neon tetras, three lined corys, and RCS in.
I am wondering if i can use the small 1.5g tank for anything that will not cramp it? is it too small to house any aquatic animal and keep it comfortable?
My LFS has a yellow strain of RCS and i thought about that? any other suggestions?
it will have small gravel in it, a couple small artificial plants with some java moss too. It has a small internal filter that came with it and a heater tuned to 26C/79F. pH is 7.4.

As far as I know, that tank would be fine for RCS - however, not too many cuz I understand they are prolific breeders - good for you that you realize it's not appropriate for fish of any kind!
Some forum members use those small tanks for shrimp or snails. I would make sure to put it through the cycling process 1st before putting anything into it.46 gal fw tank with black skirt tetras, neon tetras, spotted corys, green corys, 1 guppy, cherry barbs, otoclinus, snails & 4 amano shrimp - plastic & live plants

... Personally, I would throw quarters in it until I had saved enough to buy a more practical tank size.
I have a 1G fishbowl... I keep pens in it because I already have a change jar.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.
