    Default Ghost shrimp?

Has anyone had any luck with large (1 inch) ghost shrimp in a tank with Bloodfins? Cherry shrimp proved too tasty and small.

I've never had Ghost shrimp in a tetra tank but judging by their size they should do well with the Bloodfins. The draw back is you wont have off springs from the shrimp that survive in a freshwater tank.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

Thanks Strider! My goal overall isn't breeding, but attractive algae control. Ghost shrimp don't have the colors of my previous try of Cherry Shrimp, but I think they'll still be cool tank mates to watch.

Large amano shrimp might also work. I like the look of these a little more than ghost shrimp

I do too, but my LFS can't get ahold of them, and I'm hesitant to buy online. And, with my Bloodfins munching on the little shrimp, I'd rather experiment with the cheaper ghost shrimp until I determine how voracious the Bloodfins are.
