Well as a few of you know from my previous topic I decided to make my 10 gallon Apisto tank into a planted tank. Today my 2 water sprites arrived. They came in great condition with plenty of leaves, good root systems and nice green foliage. They're about 7 inches in height. In the next few days I should be receiving my cryptocorynes.

    Would you guys like pictures?

And also can anyone give me advice onto what additives I should use for my plants? Will the benefit from liquid ferts or from root tabs? O.o

Pics are always good. As far as ferts root tabs will do the trick. Expect your crypts to experience melt. This is normal, many leaves will melt away but will regrow in time.

I'll be adding pictures soon enough, but before that can anyone answer whether or not Asian Watermoss(Salvinia cucullata) will survive in a low light enviroment? My 10 gallon tank has 15watts of light and I'd love to add a floating plant yet I can't seem to find anything that's nice looking and can survive in low light.

Oh and for adding root tabs for my water sprite, do I just add the tab in while water is in the tank? Or should I drain the tank, add the tab, then refill it? O.o

You can just stick it in the substrate. Just make sure that it is stuck in about half way for the best results.
    20 gallon tall: empty
29 gallon: moderately planted with 9 bloodfin tetra, 1 german blue ram, 11 glow light tetra and 1 BNP
    10 gallon QT: empty

Half way? You mean like an inch or so into the substrate?

Okay so I'll add picture later tonight. Just fed my apistos. Both have grown in size and are eating pellet food regularly now. I'm going to add more small clay pot caves however as the male is being a bit aggressive. I also have to plant the 4 stems of water sprite that I got that did not have roots.

    At least an inch yes.

That salvina shouldn't be a problem, otherwise try amazon frogbit. Do know that any floating plant will take light away from your other plants.
