  1. Default A little help with BN plecos.

I recently have seen some BN plecos with a beautiful color variety and I would like to know if they keep their color. For example, one had white dots all over it and one even had stripes.

Also, I'm looking foreward to keeping a l183 Starlight BN pleco in my 55g community as well. I have 2 questions on these.
Do these do as good of an algea eating job as regular BN plecos?
Are they aggressive feeders? I have zebra loaches and I want them to be able to get food.

They keep their colour but that colour also changes depending on mood and surroundings. And it's not a variety but a seperate species. Diet is the same for all the bristlenose species, almost exclusively vegetarian when they're young. 10-20% protein when they're near adult.
