    Default Banded sculpin care?

    0 Not allowed!
Does anyone on the forum keep these? There are tons of them in the creeks around where I live and I have been able to catch several so far but I haven't kept any because I currently don't have an empty tank and I didn't know anything about their care. any information on their care or possible tank mates will be greatly appreciated, also what is the best tank size and what would be good native tankmates?
    Thanks in advance.

If I were to keep these, I would just try to replicate their conditions as best I could, like cooler water, really good current, lots of hiding places, etc. Personally I don't think keeping sculpin would be very entertaining, as they hide a lot, you can find them right out back, and their color isnt very spectacular lol, but that is just me . If you have a big enough tank, maybe keep some shiners with them. They wouldn't need too big of a tank, but I imagine a tank set up ideally for hillstream loaches would be remarkably similar to one set up for sculpin, so if you really want to keep sculpin, I might look at some of those set ups. :)

When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me
