If it is done correctly it can be done. The problem is most don't put them in at the right time, or set up the tank properly from the beginning, that is why they get into trouble with multiple angels.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Mandy in looking through your blog site and photos we need to steer you towards more plantings either real or artificial to establish zones and areas that the fish will feel safe and comfortable within. It is too sparsely planted for long term success. You will need more plants.

Yes but a 130 gallon ,might be alright.

Only a 44 gallon, but they seem to have worked it out ,maybe.

Are you sure you have two males? Could be spawning behavior and not just aggression.

Tank size definitely is the difference, as with all aggressive fish. Obviously more can be kept in larger, heavily planted tanks than smaller tanks. It could be that your angels were simply picking out the alpha to rule the tank, Reef. There always has to be a boss of the herd. :) I just never liked the idea that some had to hide all the time so they wouldn't be attacked. What's the point of having fish if they can't swim around the whole tank?
