It seems that both of them will not get along any hints on this.

I see fin tears on one there are some glow lights in here also about 6 in a 44 Gallon.

Any hints besides moving one and really not an option right now.

    Never had that before.

    Thanks

    Jeff

You can try taking the more aggressive fish out of the tank for a few hours, put him in a bucket. Rearrange the tank a little and give the remaining fish time to find their way around then put the angelfish back in. Sometimes this works but often it doesn't. Once aggression starts with angelfish there isn't a whole lot you can do stop it.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Temperature at 78F. Feed less, feeding less keeps eggs from forming, so does a slightly cooler temp. Put many tall plants in the tank placed strategically. Make physical vision breaks so the fish can not see each other all of the time. Set up little territories with the plants.

I'm glad this worked for you, it never did for me.

I can't even keep two in a 55 gallon if they are both males. That's why we are advised to only have one angel or a pair.

First time I got angels, I got 9. What a newbie error that one was. Out of the 9, I ended up with 4 pairs and that resulted in me having to buy 3 more tanks to keep a pair in each one and I had to give the loner away because the odd-man out won't work with any pair set-ups, either. And that was only the beginning of my nightmare because I didn't know they spawned every two weeks. LOLOL I put an add in the paper and ended up giving them all way. Since then, I have two more but each one alone in a 55 gallon. Now I enjoy them but sure didn't enjoy them in groups!
