Aquarium Plant Tools
Does anyone have any tools that they like? I am looking for a decent set of scissors and tweezers but have seen mixed reviews for about every set i look at. Really don't want to spend $50 for a set, but also am willing to spend more than $2

Have to be careful when buying there though, lots of cheap ones that will rust up quick.

Now these are UK prices but I have these:
Fluval Planting Tongs http://www.amazon.co.uk/RC-Hagen-110...planting+tongs
Fluval Scissors http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fluval-11076...luval+scissors
I've had them a year now and I have no complaints. The tongs have a nice flexion so you cannot "over-grip" a plant and crush it. I also use a little pair of cheap nail scissors for trimming grasses and small stems."Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." Carl Sagan

Bought some stainless tweezers about 10 inches long because I thought planting would be easier but found out my fingers work best.
I also bought a small pair of scissors from the local pharmacy which cost $2.00 and they work well in combination with a shrimp net for catching the cuttings.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
