  1. Default Filtration for 125 gallon community tank?

    0 Not allowed!
    Hi all,

I'm going to setup a 125 gallon community tank (20+ corys and 50+ tetras). If I use 2x Penguin 350s and 2x ATI #5 sponge filters, will that be enough filtration for my tank. My head says it might be not enough, but knowing that the bioload of corys and tetras aren't that high (correct me if I'm wrong), it should be ok. What do you guys think?

PS. I want to stay with HOBs, Powerheads and sponge filters only. Thanks!

I would do an aquaclear 110 & 70 or 2 aquaclear 110s and not have to worry about the added cost of spongefilters plus the added cost of a decent air pump to drive the sponge filters.
