    Common names drive me bonkers, there's way too many duplicates. With a latin name it's quite easy to find the common name that makes sense to you.

    Nice dense growth in that tank indeed!

    Yes time for a prune, wild thing is I pulled and traded about 20 plants out of it already, but waiting to get that 125 set up so I will remove some and add to that one.

    Will look better for a few months then.

    About year and a half on the Jungle Val's the others about 7 on the Anubias and the rest added on whim from Pets mart and a few local stores.


    Bought the Val's from

    if you go for the jungle Val's best to have a 5 foot deep tank and that is no lie, stick with the smaller ones I had them years ago , real easy to grow like the weed plant they are, but still need about 2 watts per gallon or so.
