Planted Discus Tank Pics
0
For those of you who enjoy viewing pics of discus tanks, and as a further introduction of myself, I wanted to mention that over the past several years, I've concentrated on raising discus juvies in planted tank set-ups..... So I thought I'd post some albums of my set-ups undertaken at one time or another over the past few years:

Your setups are well documented and your fish have sufficient room. Good to see that. Just wondering, is that sand really white?

Stunning photos! Your set-ups are gorgeous. I really do like the wild colouring of some of your fish - they're my favourites.

Wow! Just beautiful, the Discus are stunning and the tank is quite lovely. Can you tell me what the solid yellow and the yellow with red and white are?

Very nice and the planting really adds to the overall effect. CO2 injection?
Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is down to just two Sterba's Corys. Filters: continuous new water flow; canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber!! Finally, junked the nitrate removal unit from hell.

Yes, it's white quartz-based silica pool filter sand.

the solid yellows are golden lollipops, and the yellow with red & white is an Albino Golden.

No, it's strictly low-tech - using root tab ferts, and weekly moderate dosing of liquid macros & micros.
Many thanks for all your kind comments.
