Something really cool about cichlids (african to s/a) the males when they get larger will have a point to the fin, females will be rounded. Also females will be bigger and more rounded ovals compared to thin boddied males.

    male:

    Female:
    FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
    Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

Glad you posted those pics, that helped me out too. Looks like all 3 of mine might be females. But they are still young ( 3 months) so maybe its too soon to say.
When in d0ubt read it until it makes sense, then read it again!

Beautiful fish man; it's a shame all I can get locally are normal rams. I'm tempted to order one like that off aquabid to finish off my tank.
Long time fish keeper most experience with CA/SA cichlids, natives like sunfish, and aggressive catfish.
Currently have a 29g planted with 14 candy cane tetras, 6 sterbai corys, 6 melini corys, a rescued Siamese fighting fish and 1 mustache wearing albino longfin pleco.
