    Default Centerpiece idea?

    0 Not allowed!
I recently sold my gardneri killifish because my galaxy rasboras and endlers kept mysteriously disappearing, so now I've got:

    8 dwarf cories
    5 galaxy rasboras
    3 endlers

... in a 20 gallon planted tank, and right now it's looking kind of drab. Any thoughts for a centerpiece fish? Thanks guys.

Honey and sparkling gouramis. Both are peaceful, shy, tiny labyrinth fish with tiny mouths so you won't have to fear for your micro fish. They can even be kept in harems provided enough cover is present. Other than that, various types of dwarf cichlids. Small species like apistogramma trifasciata would fit in well, but on the other hand I currently am keeping a full size male bolivian ram with male endlers and a 1/2 inch baby panda Cory with no issues too.

I think the sparklers or honeys could look awesome in my tank! I've kept both in the past with success and I've always liked the personality that gouramis have... Just called my LFS and they have sparklers in stock, so I'll stop by later today to have a look. Thanks for your two cents!

Scarlet badis or just normal badis, much like the gouramis in that they are labryinth fish but they are a lot shyer.

Scarlet badis certainly are pretty, but at their size(about the same length as the rest of your fish) I don't think you will have much of a centerpiece.

Also Badis Badis is a species only fish that has really high levels of food requirements and aggression issues.
