Malaysian Trumpet snails aka MTS.... Unless you refer to the plants in which case I say Anacharis Elodea.

    Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

I was referring to the snails but I've got some of the plant in my tank too and I had no idea what it was so thanks for the ID.

So are these MTS? If they are I want to keep them but some of you seem unsure.

Is there any chance they're assassin snails?

    None at all!

I think Goes is probably right, the shape certainly matches exactly

It's a valuable species but as soon as they establish they're there to stay and will require regular management.

Thanks guys. I'm going to put them straight in the tank 😄.

Just make sure you keep your tank really clean. Any slight over feeding and your mts population will explode beyond all you thought possible. Then you will need assassin snails. And trust me you'll know those when you see them, they look really cool and cost a heck of allot more lol.

Even without you can keep them under control, it's just a lot more work.
