  1. Question Plecos and Loaches

    0 Not allowed!
I was just wondering if this might present any future problems, I currently have a 30G with 3 Pearl Gouramis, 7 Danios (mixed types), 6 amano shrimp (I think there's six left...) 4 nerite snails and... 5 Batik Loaches and a Clown Pleco.

So far the loaches have left this guy alone and he's doing what he always does, sitting invisibly in his stupid log (I know you dont buy plecos for excitement but come on, I've never seen him out). I was just wondering, because Batik's have a tendency to not so much be territorial but they act kind of like Danio's of the bottom, meaning they love to chase things that move. They will chase my danio's up the tank if they get too curious about the loaches but other than that they leave everyone else alone. The only interaction with the Pearls they have is mostly accidently chasing them if they happen to be where the danios are.

Does anyone see any future problems that'll arise?

I feel as though the loach #'s will be an issue, I think that many of them will be too large for the tank (they each get approx 5").

The gouramis each get 4", pretty large for that tank and the pleco gets about 4"

I think if you had 1 gourami, 1 pleco, and 1 loach you would be better off.
