Pregnant pearl danio what do I do!?!?
My pearl danio is pregnant and a big large and she is in a small breeder tank ( only one I had ) she will be relocated into a 5 gallon tank in a day or two. How do I breed these fish? How do. Keep babies or eggs alive? How do I feed them? Will they need a heater in my 5 gallon? How long does the process take?

The procedure you are using is only effective with livebearers. Livebearers have internal fertilization and when you see a bulging belly, it is sign that there is developing offspring. Egg layers like celestial pearl danios fertilize their eggs outside of the body, meaning that the bulge in gravid females isn't caused by fry, but by still unfertilized eggs. By isolating the female you are essentially losing all chances of Breeding them. Yes, they will need a heater in the 5 gallon. Get a whole bunch of fine leaved plants such as hornwort or cabomba and put the female with a male after conditioning them. If the female really is gravid and the bulge isn't caused by bloat or another disease, then they will spawn in the plants. Both parents should be removed afterwards because they will eat eggs and fry.
