  1. Default problem with tetra

I have 4 larger green tetras along with some regular neons. One of the greens is swimming erratically. Can find no outward signs of disease. Seems to be eating ok. but irregularly. Water tests ok. No other stressors that I can see. Any thoughts?

    Hi. sorry you're having trouble.
What is your tank size? as in how many gallons?
do you have any other fish and if so what and how many?
What kind of filtration do you have?
Have you cycled your tank and if so when did the cycle complete?
What is your regular water change schedule (how many gallons and how often)?
When you say water tests ok, what does that mean? Please tell us exactly what your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings are? Also it's good to know what you use to test. Strips or API liquid test kit?
Do you use a water conditioner?
    What temp is your tank?

All of these answers will help you figure out what might be going on in your tank.

It could be a myriad of things, the questions fishmommie posted will help us diagnose which one/ones it may be.

First thing that came to mind was chlorine in the water tho.

The info fishmommy is requesting is important in helping to eliminate some causes.
I too have green tetras in my Son's tank now and they will start to decline after a period of time. There are no outward diseases apparent and the water conditions are near perfect yet a green tetra goes from healthy to passing away in a two day time period.
I found that feeding some zucchini or cucumber sliced up and blanched, kept the Green tetras going longer.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.
