Default 9 hour power outage-What can I expect?

At 1:15am this morning the power was lost to the house. The outside temperature was around 33 degrees F.
My reef went down slowly in temperature to 72 degrees F after 9 hours of no power. \
Are there any diseases I should be preparing for like saltwater ick? Will the corals (all softies and polyps), be effected by the temperature change and/or lack of flow for that period of time?
The tank is slowly heating up again and every thing looks ok.
I found a thread where Hockeyhead suggested a power inverter for just such an emergency. Great idea Hockeyhead, I'll be picking one up this afternoon. One just never knows these days.

Low temps will not cause ick, it's caused by a parasite. A stressed out tank can cause ick to flourish tho, but it still needs to be there in the first place.

Slowly bring your temp back up, but everything should be fine. I have had a 5 hour power outage before were my tank dropped to around 74F. My corals were really PO'd for the rest of the day, but nothing bad happened at all. That is no different when corals or fish get shipped at the water temp in the bag often drops to the low 70's as well.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks Cliff. I mentioned Ick because I thought the fish may be stressed by the dropping of the temp. But your example of shipping fish makes sense.
Nitrates are 0ppm and I finally got one of my Hydor Koralia wave pumps running again. I seemed to seize up during the down time.
