  1. Unhappy Glofish lost color??? Update...need help!

This is the update to the original post from yesterday...
The glofish was doing better...darting around, not hiding much earlier today. When I returned home to check on her, she seemed OK. I tried to feed her but she didn't want to eat but did swim up to the top of the qt. She just started swimming sideways, so i did an immediate water change with treated water, same temp. She temporarily perked up, but began to swim sideways again and isn't swimming around as much. Is there anything else I can do?

Color enhancing food won't help a stressed fish, especially one that isn't eating. I didn't read your other thread but it is possible the stress of what ever was going on was too much for the fish. Keep the water clean and wait it out, it may pull through or it may not.
When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

My glofish didn't make it. He lasted 2 days in qt, but I couldn't get her/ him to eat. I was about to try aquarium salt, but it was too late. The lfs told me that it couldn't have been anything to do with the swim bladder, because he was swimming sideways, not upside down (which would indicate the sb disorder). Since I didn't know what the problem was, I threw out everything he came in contact with-now I'm watching everyone else and checking the water parameters even more frequently. I did another 30% water change (parameters fine before that anyway). Other fish are eating well and behaving normally. Any comments/ info would be helpful...

Had a quick look at your previous history but couldn't find relevant information.

A problem common with glofish is that many people don't understand that beneath their colour they're still danios. Which results in these fish being kept in low numbers in hideously small tanks. Not saying that's what you're doing but do look at the big picture.
