Thread: Snow day!

I got the call this morning that school was called off on account of the biggest snowstorm of the year. There are about two feet on the ground and it's still coming down. So...Bacon, banana bread, and hot cocoa for breakfast, then a great swim at the pool with my girls. Lunch, and now for some epic sledding.
And the best thing is, all this white stuff will be gone by Thursday!

The weather is really weird lately. I hope we don't get that winter storm up this way but Thursday evening we have a winter storm advisory. So much for an early Spring.
Enjoy the late season white stuff.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

It's fairly normal around here, except we've been in a drought. I can hear the land saying, "Ahhhhhhhh." Or maybe that's just the ranchers. Whatever, it was a day of sledding and swimming and potroast and nature videos and naps. Hard to ask for much more than that. It might be headed your direction, but I'll ask it to steer south.Do not rejoice over me yet, o my enemy, for even if I fall, I will rise again. Almost our snow is gone. Not sure if there's any more in the forecast... Parents wouldn't shut up through it

Why is your snow fun, and ours a stressor??? LOL...
We still have lots. It's been too cold to melt. I hear we have the possibility of more tomorrow too.
I feel sorry for the geese...they've flown all the way back just to experience the reason they left last fall...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos
