They look so relaxed and comfortable. I love the way they follow you around.
And that wonderful checkerboard pattern! That must be a new strain - LOL!!!
How long will they be in the QT?

They really do appear to be quite comfortable and I think I may have to shift some things around in the tank because literally all 6 of them want to be on the side of the tank facing the tv where we spend most of the time.

Man, these are too pretty...like the others, I can't wait to see them in their new permanent home...It was asked earlier, but I missed the answer: have you fed them yet?...what does one keep on the menu for Discus?

Folks, I think JJ retired from this thread until Monday. She's glued to her tank right now. JJ, you can throw some cory cats into the QT.
Those discus are probably wondering right about now:
Discus 1: Say, guys, why do I feel like I'm being watched.
Discus 2: Hmmm, maybe because every time we turn around, we're being watched by a pair of googly eyes?
Discus 3: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming....
Discus 4: I feel naked! I demand my privacy! AND FOOD!
Discus 5: Let's stare back at her and see how she feels. *GLARES*
Discus 6: I wonder, does she think I'm fat?

Spardas, thanks so much for giving me a good giggle today! My laptop has decided it would like to have a black screen & nothing else.. of course I've located all the startup guides but no start up disc so until I can have it fixed I'm stuck on my cell...grrrrrr
The Discus are just amazing! First feeding yesterday was kinda so so not much interest so I did my wc then about an hour after added a bit of the cubed freeze dried black worms and what difference! One even ate out of my hand!
This morning I went to stick the fdbw to the tank glass and I never made it, all 6 were eating from my hand, literally had 1/2 cube in each hand in the tank :D
Forrest & Kenny really go above and beyond in the way the fish are raised, just outstanding.

Yes, I'm tickled pink by it! Of course the whole time I'm trying to siphon the bottom and change the water they're checking out my hand for food ( Discus #6 is getting fat lol).
Also starting to see who's the boss of the group, they seem to be working that issue out... After we got home from dinner I sat down on the couch which is about 9 feet away from the tank when I actually heard splashing, now that freaked me out a bit. When I got to the tank I saw some lip locking going on but everyone seemed okay. The strange thing is they don't really use the whole tank, all 6 basically congregate on one side....
