hi there, just joined the forums after using aquatic community's awesome information for my tanks for a while. i have been keeping fish since i was a little kid, im 21 now, and i figured it would be fun to talk fish with people and learn some more things that will help my current tanks or any tanks to come. at the moment i have three tanks:
a 10 gal goldfish tank, with 1 oranda and one pom pom goldfish. some live swords growing in there, the fish and different snails love it.
an eclipse corner 5gal with 5 tiger barbs, some ghost shrimp which i think just layed some eggs, and a variety of snails along with another type of sword.
my newest and largest experiment is my aqueon 29gal tank, i used nice substrate with nutrients for the first time to grow some wisteria, anachris, micro swords and some floating stuff too. i have a pure white crayfish in here, along with a bunch of other ghost shrimp and snails. there are 5 giant danios, 5 diamond tetras and a couple glowfin tetras swimming around in there. i used some nice driftwood for the first time as well. i plan on adding another filter so i can accomodate more fish because i feel that even though i have quite a few fish in the space already, they share the same middle section of the water column so i would like to add some fish that use the bottom or top more. a light upgrade and some more plants may go into this tank too.
i look forward to what this site has to offer
