  1. Default AquaHead's 10g Aquarium

I purchased a 10g aquarium from Wal-Mart quite a while back. It currently has Top Fin River Gravel as a substrate, no hood, 8 Rosy Red Minnows, a few fake plants arranged into a forest-like form, three large (and opaque) cups w/gravel in them, and is filtered by a FLUVAL 203 Canister Filter.

Today, I've collected a whole bunch of mosquito larvae (from here on now referred to as "wiggletails") and bloodworms from a large bucket. My spare 10g will be used (outside) as a bloodworm and wiggletail farm.

My house doesn't have a single tree near it, so I'll collect dead grass/flowers and place them in the bloodworm farm. And yes, I've done my research and heard from many AC members that a fish's diet cannot simply consist of bloodworms. I'll treat my fathead minnows to live bloodworms and/or wiggletails 2-3 times a week.

Will be sure to post photos when I get home.

My friend used to feed his fish live mosquito larvae and his Mom always wondered why they had mosquito's in the house when all the window screens were perfect.
The wiggle-tails were not all eaten by the fish and the little guys hatched in the tank and flew thought the house. Just don't over feed aquahead. Wiggle-tails are a species that find a way to survive. Good luck and don't forget the pictures.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

Hey everyone! I've just got five awesome peppered corys and have added sand to the aquarium!

(And I've removed the Fluval 203.)

Here's a short video (yes, it's crappy quality) of my current aquarium as of this afternoon.
