So.... my husband and I have started our first tank. Tropical set-up....just have neons right now. Not very educated on types of fish, or how to get it going. Any advice is appreciated....Thanks!

As already suggested, reading up on cycling a aquarium and the nitrogen cycle is a good place to start.
